Becky has assisted in obtaining over a million dollars to maintain and replace bridges in Saline County, Missouri.

Becky's grant writing has also paid off for the Saline County Courthouse Roof Project. Earning $90,000 from the Missouri Heritage Properties Project.

Becky has not been shy about sharing her thoughts and ideas. Becky has spoken at many events on many topics including domestic violence, women in agriculture, support for our veterans renewable fuel and Missouri tourism to name a few. |

Missouri received National Recognition for two grants written by Becky for a Solid Waste project leading to over $60,000 to pay for security camera equipment to catch illegal dumpers on private and/or public property in Saline County.

Becky Plattner is up on farming and the Grand Pass farmer is helping youth stay upbeat about the future of agriculture. She was named Outstanding Woman in Agriculture in 2005 and is involved in the Women in Ag program. Read More. |

The Central Missouri Technology and Skill Training Center in Marshall, Missouri was presented with an Outstanding Award for Service. As Presiding Commissioner, Becky partnered with the community to support Saline County workforce development.

Appointed to the Missouri Conservation Committee, Becky serves as the Missouri Department of Conservation's (MDC) policy maker, approving wildlife code regulations, participating in strategic planning, helping with budget development and major expenditure decision making.
